Giuseppe co-founded Index Ventures in 1996 and is a Partner. His investment focus currently includes e-commerce and online services, software and advanced communication components.

Giuseppe serves as a Director of several companies including RPX, Privalia, Adconion, Mutui Online, Milestone Systems, Ozon.ru and Moleskine. He was involved with several prior investments, including Virata (acquired by Conexant), Ciao (acquired by Microsoft), Numerical Technologies (acquired by Synopsis), and Digiquant (acquired by Intec).

Prior to founding Index Ventures, Giuseppe spent five years as a consultant with McKinsey & Company in several European offices. During his career at McKinsey, Giuseppe advised several major corporations on a number of strategic and organizational matters including European entry strategies, strategic positioning, marketing, and new product introductions.

Giuseppe holds a B.A. in Corporate Finance from Bocconi University in Milan and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
