Job Description

Reporting to Vice President, Content Strategy and Acquisition, this individual will be responsible for:

• Extracting general audience usage data and analyzing the Joost user experience
• Providing insights and sharing findings through user-friendly reports, presentations, emails, case studies, etc.
• Partnering with Joost engineers and operations to develop and maintain reporting solutions
• Fielding ad hoc internal queries as needed; maintaining, packaging, and delivering recurring reports
• Delivering and tailoring research to advertisers, content partners, and Joost management
• Supporting internal functions, including content, ad sales, and marketing

Required Qualifications/Skills

• 5-7 years of online media experience or media analytics/research
• Bachelor or graduate degree
• Able to effectively communicate, coordinate, and integrate research efforts and data to create a coherent understanding of our users
• Strong understanding of television, new media and digital industries, including familiarity with internal tracking solutions (Omniture SiteCatalyst) and syndicated research sources (comScore Media Metrix, Nielsen//NetRatings, @Plan, Jupiter, Forrester, Hitwise, etc)
• Demonstrated success working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, advertising sales, operations, and marketing
• Works well under pressure and can meet multiple deadlines simultaneously
• Self motivated and able to work unsupervised
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Must be detail-oriented, flexible, diplomatic and resourceful
• Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced and constantly evolving team environment
• Excel expert
• Flexible, Responsible and Methodical work attitude
• Good communication skills
• Allowed to work in the US or UK.
