Joining Collibra’s Accounts Receivable team
Collibra is seeking a proactive, customer-oriented, and detail-driven Accounts Receivable Collections Analyst to join our world-class accounting team. As an AR Collections Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting accounts receivable, engaging closely with customers to resolve inquiries, and ensuring prompt payments. Working cross-functionally with Sales, Account Managers, Professional Services, and TAMcustomer satisfaction. Additionally, you will contribute to process improvements and efficiency gains within our collections practices, helping streamline workflows and enhance the overall performance of the AR function. The ideal candidate brings operational accounting experience in the enterprise software industry and proficiency in NetSuite for billing and collections.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable aging for assigned accounts, proactively contacting customers via email and phone to resolve inquiries and facilitate timely collections.
- Follow internal collections escalation and dunning processes, working with internal and external partners to resolve outstanding balances.
- Generate, review, and submit invoices per billing schedules and agreements, including via vendor portals like Ariba and Coupa.
- Process and reconcile cash receipts accurately, resolving discrepancies between payments and billed amounts.
- Respond promptly to customer and internal inquiries on contracts and invoices, collaborating with Sales, Customer Success, and Professional Services to address concerns and ensure timely payments.
- Gather billing details and maintain up-to-date customer records, including tax exemption certificates where applicable.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance within billing and collections.
- Prepare documentation and analysis to support external audit requests.
- Support other department-wide initiatives as assigned.
You have
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or 3+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable or collections.
- Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce.com, and billing portals like Ariba is highly desirable.
- Fluent written and verbal English proficiency is required; an extra language like French, Spanish, or German is a plus
- Superior attention to detail, with excellent follow-up skills
- Team player able to multitask effectively and work independently
- Able to adapt to rapid business and organizational changes in a high-growth environment. Must be able to work with a strong sense of urgency

Measures of success
- Within your first month, you will complete onboarding and enablement, meet with the global team. You will also have a good understanding of Collibra's cash accounting process, accounting ERP Netsuite and you will be able to navigate through our banking platforms.
- Within your third month, you will obtain a more in-depth understanding of our group structure, intercompany funding and cash reporting. You’ll be introduced to accrual accounting for G&A and S&M.
- Within your sixth month, you will be king of cash and own the entire cash accounting process and reporting. You’ve become a key member of the accounting function and valuable partner for AP, AR, Treasury and tax teams.
