About the Role:

The Deliveroo Enterprise Technology team conceives, designs, builds and sustains the IT services powering Deliveroo’s internal teams globally, as we transform the way customers eat. We continually drive service improvements and love to automate everything we can on our journey towards  customer delight.

As ET Asset Manager you will be responsible for tracking, managing and reporting on all Enterprise Technology software and hardware assets.You will work closely with colleagues within Enterprise Technology (ET) and with partners to ensure all assets are recorded, tracked and maintained in accordance with Asset Management policy.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Creation, implementation, communication, and full ownership of asset management policy and processes for all ET hardware and software.
  • Ensuring right-sized stock levels of all hardware and licences are maintained to support onboarding of new staff and general BAU consumption. Forecast requirements and track usage vs forecast, highlighting any risks to stock early and re-ordering in line with Deliveroo policy.
  • Tracking spend against asset-related POs, ensuring spend is in line with approved budget, highlighting where spend is tracking higher than budget and raising new POs when needed, with relevant approval.
  • Identifying, reporting on and managing risks within the ET asset landscape. These could include risk of unmanaged applications or aged hardware with potential to impact productivity.
  • Identifying and implementing the correct asset management toolset in order to support managing assets, ensuring assets are assigned and managed within Deliveroo policy.
  • Building and presenting dashboards and reporting of all key metrics within asset management’s scope. All reporting should be in live dashboards, allowing self service.
  • Collaborating with and influencing colleagues and teams outside of your direct control, to ensure asset management policies are implemented and adhered to.
  • Taking a proactive approach to asset management including creating and delivering the asset management roadmap.
  • Ensuring licences no longer required are reclaimed/recycled from leavers and where possible reducing licencing commitment with vendors.
  • Ensure proper disposal of retired IT assets in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure we are prepared for and support any asset audit activity both internally and externally.

  • Deep understanding of IT Asset Management standards including Tagging and RFID
  • Strong experience of building and maintaining reporting dashboards.

  • Driven, self-starter without requiring close supervision, collaborative, comfortable adapting to change and learning quickly in a dynamic organisation.
  • Ability to, occasionally, accommodate a non-traditional work schedule and remain flexible to meet the needs of executives
  • Ability to perform duties with a high degree of responsiveness and professionalism including with discretion.
  • A high level of proactivity in identifying problems and inefficiencies and collaborating to improve processes and ways of working.
  • Be highly organised and able to manage workload effectively. Strong communication skills at all levels within the organisation.

We’re also interested in…

  • Experience identifying, selecting and implementing asset management tooling.
  • Recognised IT Asset Management qualification(s).
  • Building automated dashboards with DataStudio (or similar), integrated with target systems.
  • Experience creating and implementing asset management policy.
  • Experience of utilising ITSM tooling (e.g ServiceNow) for asset management.
  • Understanding of ITIL / Service Management.
