Hello. We’re Stadium Goods. We are the world’s premier sneaker + streetwear marketplace selling only the most sought-after footwear, apparel and other hard-to-find items on behalf of our sellers. We are driven by our principles and committed to providing the best consumer and consignment experience there is. In January 2019, Stadium Goods became part of the Farfetch family of companies, which will help guide our evolution as we usher in the next chapter of scale and growth.

Data & Analytics Data & Analytics Team manages collecting all the important information we need around our products, customers, and sales to effectively run our business. Data is responsible for storing that data and providing the company with access to the data in tools and dashboards. Analytics is responsible for then synthesizing that data into actionable insights that can drive our key results.

Our Data team works to acquire, generate, and steward the data used by all departments, and we’re looking to hire a Data Architect to help evolve our data architecture and work more effectively. In this role you will serve as the internal data subject matter expert and primary point of contact for a core group of stakeholders. Your first mandate will be partnering with the data team to identify and improve gaps in the data we collect and funnel into our reporting infrastructure. By working regularly with developers to understand the ecosystem, and stakeholders to understand the business needs, you will help to shape the direction of our architecture and how we serve the business, and in turn, the customer.

  • Partner with Data Engineering and stakeholders to understand business context and to develop and communicate a long-term strategic direction for our data architecture
  • Own the data architecture backlog; gather requirements, build consensus on solutions, prioritize requests, and work with product, BI and data engineering to understand and improve our data ecosystem
  • Lead an effort to rethink how data is modeled in our warehouse from the ground up to create a flexible and easily understood platform for data analysis.
  • Act as data steward to audit, cleanse, and standardize disparate data sources; take ownership of triaging data anomalies, and identifying ways to remediate
  • Work with business partners to validate business rules for new and existing data attributes and reporting metrics.
  • Oversee the selection and implementation of a new CDP tool in 2020 through 2021 to support our business in elevating its CRM and retention activities.
  • Work with peers at our parent company Farfetch to identify and shepherd improvements to how we define and integrate our data architectures
  • Partner with our parent company, Farfetch, to incorporate capabilities from their data platform, data models, and data products into Stadium Goods’ data stack
  • Continuously push for process improvements to reduce error rates, extend and enrich our data, and increase automation
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of workflows and upstream and downstream processes that will allow you to excel in your role
  • Partner with data engineering to coordinate change management in databases/processes with minimal user interruption

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ year’s work experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, BI, Data Product Management or Master Data Management
  • Strong SQL, Excel, and quantitative skills
  • Experience in Tableau or similar
  • Familiarity with database architecture and data governance concepts
  • Proven success as a project or product manager in an agile environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in retail or marketplace business a plus

  • Comprehensive total rewards package that includes competitive salary, company equity, health benefits and 401k
  • Generous paid time off
  • Dynamic career growth opportunities
  • A fun, creative and missiondriven work environment
  • Team outings and afterwork events
