What you will own:

As a Growth Specialist, you’ll be living in the data of our product and users to provide strategic insights for our growth initiatives and squads (including growth, product, brand and engineering teams) to work from. These insights will feed our growth experiments, help us prioritise initiatives, launch into new countries and improve our customer lifecycle from acquisition through to retention.

You will work under our Growth Lead Hannah and Head of Growth Jess who are very good (this isn’t them writing this, that would be weird). When Jess isn’t driving the Growth of Linktree, Jess is also Managing Director of Girls in Tech Australia. You wouldn’t only be working with the Growth team but all areas of Linktree. We are highly cross-functional so you’d love to understand the needs of other teams and working with them on a daily basis.

Where and how we work:

We are a global, diverse group across age, gender, and race and offer a truly flexible and family friendly work environment. Kids, pets and the occasional delivery person are all actively encouraged to appear on our Zoom screens. All of us at Linktree work either fully remote or a hybrid “remote and in-office sometimes” approach and that will continue even when COVID is behind us.

We currently have offices in Melbourne, Sydney with LA coming next but our team is spread across Australia, Brazil, Indonesia, USA, Canada, Ireland and Nigeria.

Being globally distributed doesn’t mean you need to change your time zone, and we offer autonomy and flexibility in how you structure your days and weeks. There will be the need for some collaboration outside of a “normal” 9-5 as we are a global company, but we aim to work asynchronously where possible.

Leading the stage of the flywheel focused on activating and retaining both free and PRO users to keep Linktree growing, you would build strategies, campaigns and initiatives that will increase number of users signing up for free and PRO accounts, the number of users activating and our conversion to PRO rate while helping drive down churn. In line with the growth team ethos of continuous improvement, you would also create experiments to beat our benchmarks and would be someone who loves to make decisions through validating assumptions with data every step of the way.

What we are looking for

We would love to hear from you if you have 1) experience in a similar role, 2) an ability to analyse data and draw insights to make decisions and inform strategies and 3) a passion for growth and know the importance of activating and retaining customers as key to long term success. Bonus points for experience at a SaaS company to assist with understanding how activation and retention works in our world.
