SEI is seeking to hire a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP). The HRBP is the first point of contact for all employees for HR matters. This position is a resource that provides consulting on a variety of HR programs designed to optimize business unit performance. This role partners with all levels of management and employees including directors, managers, supervisors and employees. The HR Business partner manages HR programs including but not limited to, resource planning, performance management, organizational development, compensation planning, coaching, policy interpretation, employee relations as well as other support to ensure alignment with overall business strategy.
What you will do:

  • Ensure the execution of key HR initiatives and programs to drive continuous improvement in the areas of organizational effectiveness, staffing, employee relations, performance management, compensation strategy, training and development, benefits, employment practices and compliance.
  • Communicate with managers and employees to answer questions, clarify policies and processes, create solutions and resolve issues or conflicts.
  • Support the execution of successful change management programs: provide effective planning and analysis, implement effective communication of change initiatives, provide leadership support and ensure employee involvement and support.
  • Collaborate with Learning and Development on training and development programs and offerings for employees at all levels of tenure to include training on HR related activities, on-boarding, employee development, and business knowledge. Acts as a facilitator as needed.
  • Implement performance management process, provide reporting metrics, provide recommendations for enhancing process and track trends.
  • Provide coaching and direction to management regarding organization restructuring and change.
  • Conducting one-on-one coaching for employees as needed.
  • Manage employee relations and work with management towards successful resolution, including but not limited to, coaching and counseling, problem resolution, the development of performance improvement plans, and termination procedures
  • Collaborate with Workforce Development functional teams on enterprise workforce programs and initiatives

What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field and/or work experience equivalent (PHR/SPHR OR SHRM is a plus)
  • Minimum of 3 years professional experience in human resources management or HR generalist role with increasing responsibilities, including experience with organizational and workforce development
  • Technical proficiency and experience with/and or ability to learn HRIS and Performance Management systems
  • Ability to communicate effectively and lead through influence with all levels of management.
  • Ability to plan, communicate strategy, and pay close attention to detail with strategic and execution orientations.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and be adaptable when priorities shift regarding changing plans quickly.
