OpenX is seeking a Creative Director to lead the vision, execution, and evolution of our global brand expression. In this role, you’ll be responsible for defining the look, feel, and voice of OpenX across every touchpoint—from investor decks to product launch videos to keynote stages. You’ll bring complex, technical concepts to life through compelling visual storytelling, grounded in clarity, strategy, and elegance. As our creative lead, you’ll manage a nimble team of in-house and contract designers, and work cross-functionally with marketing, product, sales, and executive stakeholders. You’ll be hands-on with design when needed, but always thinking big picture—ensuring every asset not only looks sharp but tells the right story. Key Responsibilities
Creative Leadership & Brand Stewardship
- Own the global creative direction of the OpenX brand—guiding everything from campaign design to executive keynotes to sales enablement.
- Champion brand consistency while pushing for innovation and bold, thoughtful design across mediums.
- Translate abstract or technical business concepts into accessible, beautiful design solutions that resonate with customers, investors, and partners.
Design Execution & Asset Creation
- Oversee the development of high-impact creative assets—data visualizations, decks, infographics, videos, animations, event collateral, and more.
- Serve as a hands-on design partner when needed—particularly for flagship initiatives and executive-level deliverables.
Team Management & Collaboration
- Lead and mentor a small but mighty team of in-house and freelance designers, fostering a high-performance and high-creativity environment.
- Work closely with marketing, product, comms, and executive teams to understand business objectives and deliver creative solutions that meet them.
- Manage creative timelines, priorities, and feedback loops with efficiency and grace.
Required Qualifications
- 8–10+ years of experience in design or creative direction, with a focus on B2B, SaaS, or ad tech brands.
- A standout portfolio that includes data-rich presentations, technical storytelling, explainer videos, and cross-channel brand work.
- Deep fluency in design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects or similar for motion).
- Demonstrated excellence in visualizing complex data and concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Strong project management skills—able to juggle multiple timelines and stakeholders without dropping the creative ball.
- Proven experience managing designers and creative vendors with a collaborative, inspiring leadership style.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in ad tech, fintech, or healthcare tech
- Comfort designing for both digital and live event environments.
- A strategic mindset—equal parts designer and storyteller.
