Full-stack Engineer (Ruby on Rails)

Our Product Growth team in Prague is looking for a Full-stack Product Engineer to join us in Prague and drive improvements across activation, monetization, retention, and experiments with AI to deliver smarter, more valuable experiences to our customers. What You'll Do As part of the Growth team, you’ll help people discover, try, and get value from Productboard - from first touchpoint through onboarding, engagement, and expansion. We ship fast, measure impact, and learn quickly.

• Build onboarding flows and in-product guides that bring users to their “aha” moment faster
• Run AI-driven experiments (e.g. smart setup helpers, personalized onboarding, AI suggestions)
• Improve monetization flows (plan structure, upgrade nudges, communicating value)
• Work on retention features that keep users engaged and coming back
• Lead high-impact growth experiments with product, design, and data partners
• Advocate for scalable solutions and mentor others in growth engineering

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience building full-stack web applications (comfortable working on both frontend and backend)
• Growth mindset - you care about business impact and think in terms of activation, conversion, and retention
• Comfort with ambiguity - you experiment, learn quickly, and iterate when things don’t work right away
• Cross-functional experience - worked closely with PMs, designers, and analysts to ship features that solve real problems
• Interest in AI - not an expert, but curious and eager to explore how AI can improve user experience
