About the team:

Product Managers at Robinhood are responsible for leading teams to develop products that improve the everyday lives of our customers. You’ll work with experts in engineering, data, design, operations, security and compliance to bring ideas to life that will help us democratize our financial system.

The KYC (“Know Your Customer”) team plays the critical role of providing all eligible customers with seamless access to Robinhood while keeping bad actors off the platform. You’ll be responsible for building a world class identity verification program used at onboarding and at critical moments throughout the customer lifecycle. You’ll collaborate with other product teams to identify KYC needs for different products and build these experiences in a way that delivers a great customer experience while meeting all regulatory obligations. As your team succeeds, more eligible customers will be able to onboard onto Robinhood products and achieve their financial goals.

Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Working with engineering and cross-functional partners to establish a roadmap and shared set of priorities across the team and the company
  • Collaborating with engineering, operations, and compliance to develop a world class Customer Identification Program to verify customer identities
  • Identifying and working with external partners who can enhance Robinhood’s ability to verify customers’ identities
  • Partnering with teams like Onboarding and Risk & Fraud to ship new products and features that improve the customer experience while ensuring we’re blocking bad actors from our system

About you:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
  • 2+ years experience building and shipping high-quality products or platforms
  • Ability to focus on a problem at hand while thoughtfully considering overarching company strategy
  • Passion for financial products and improving people’s financial lives
  • Motivation to be a self-starter

Bonus points:

  • Computer Science major
  • Experience working on a fintech or finance product
