It’s an exciting time to join Tactile. We're a diverse team of storytellers, puzzle enthusiasts and casual mobile game creators. Our story began in 2008 in the heart of beautiful Copenhagen, and since then we have experienced continuous growth, establishing ourselves as one of the largest gaming companies in Denmark. In more recent years, we have been scaling fast, in big part thanks to the success of a little game called Lily’s Garden. Now we’re on a mission to solidify our position as one of the leaders in creating out-of-the-ordinary casual puzzle games.
With more than 300 talented individuals, we are a mix of over 40 nationalities and 43% women. We truly appreciate the richness of different experiences and perspectives that Tactilers bring to the game. This is why we foster a lean organisational culture, in which each individual is encouraged to take responsibility, be open and grow in their own way. We pride ourselves in cultivating a studio environment that stays away from crunch, that fosters your skills no matter what your discipline is, and one that gives you a place to be creative alongside other passionate and invested storytellers.
🚀 Your role & impact:
We are currently growing our Lily’s Garden Gameboard team and are on the search for a Level Designer to join the team of talented designers and engineers supporting the production of new levels and mini games within our hit game Lily’s Garden,
The impact that you’ll have on the team’s success is that you will be helping to create and prepare new match-3 levels for release (the team works in bi-weekly sprints), monitor their performance and ensure that we hit the right difficulties and level quality. In your day-to-day, you will be collaborating closely with other designers, gameplay programmers, QA testers and data analysts to keep improving the overall level design workflow.
This role can be either remote or based from our beautiful Copenhagen office. We offer full relocation support to those coming from outside of Denmark.

- Level creation, as well as testing and validating levels before release
- Preparing levels for release and monitoring their performance
- Pushing level changes live to make sure we hit the right difficulties and level quality
- Reworking older levels and preparing levels for AB tests
- Collaborating with data analytics to help improve level data dashboards
- Keeping a close eye on the casual/match-3 mobile games market trends so that we can make sure our level progression stays up to date with the market
What we’re looking for:
- Solid experience of working on a live match-3 mobile game
- Knowledge of game level balancing and pacing
- Strong understanding of level design concepts and ideas
- Experience with working in a data-driven level design environment
- Great attention to detail
