Role Overview
We’re seeking a skilled and driven AI Engineer to design, build, and optimize AI-powered voice and chat agents that deliver seamless, high-quality customer experiences. In this role, you’ll take full ownership of creating AI agents end-to-end - from designing the flow and crafting prompts to implementing integrations, selecting voice settings, and testing performance. You’ll work with raw customer data to define use cases, build and optimize agent experiences, and ensure seamless functionality across channels. Collaborating closely with customers, product teams, and engineers, you’ll deliver innovative, production-ready solutions that transform customer service experiences for leading global enterprises.
Key Responsibilities
- Design prompts and implement functions that guide our AI agents across multiple channels (voice, chat, email).
- Integrate with customer APIs, databases, and internal tools to enable agents to perform real tasks.
- Test and QA and fine-tune agents using live data to improve accuracy, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate directly with customers to gather requirements, present solutions, and iterate quickly based on feedback.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to ship high-quality, production-ready solutions.
- Contribute to processes, tooling, and documentation that support scalable multilingual AI model development.
- Stay informed about emerging AI technologies, linguistic trends, and best practices relevant to conversational AI.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related STEM field.
- Excellent English, written and spoken + Native Dutch Speaker
- 2-6 years of software development experience (ideally backend).
- Strong understanding of networking, HTTP, APIs, and authentication mechanisms.
- Ability to learn complex customer systems quickly and translate them into technical solutions.
- A flexible, problem-solving mindset with the passion for working under pressure.
