Katie serves as an advisor and thought partner to founders as they build out their foundational leadership teams, helping with strategy and calibration. She also spends time growing Index’s technical talent network, building meaningful relationships with top engineering and product leaders in the US.
Prior to joining Index, Katie spent over 8 years at Stripe where she helped create and lead the global Recruiting function. Katie joined when Stripe was 200 people as its first Tech Recruiter, expanded its Singapore office and APAC presence and spent the last few years running its Executive Recruiting team, supporting the company as it reached over 8,000 employees. Prior to Stripe, Katie also spent time recruiting top talent and building teams at Google and Yahoo.
Katie has her degree from UC Santa Barbara and spent her childhood and the last few years in Southern California. Now back in San Francisco, outside of work she can be found at the beach with her two children, husband and labrador, watching football or planning her next trip to the mountains.
