Black Box Tester - Consumer Apps

We are seeking a skilled Black Box Tester with proven consumer app experience to join our quality assurance team. You will be responsible for ensuring our consumer-facing applications deliver exceptional user experiences through comprehensive testing across multiple platforms and devices.

Responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end black box testing of consumer mobile and web applications across iOS, Android, and web platforms
• Design and execute test cases focused on user flows, UI/UX functionality, and real-world usage scenarios
• Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps, ensuring critical customer-facing issues are prioritized
• Collaborate with product and development teams to validate fixes and conduct regression testing for app releases

Requirements:

• 1-4 years of hands-on black box testing experience with consumer-facing mobile or web applications
• Strong understanding of consumer app ecosystems (iOS App Store, Google Play) and user behavior patterns
• Excellent bug reporting skills with ability to articulate issues from an end-user perspective
• Experience testing across multiple devices, OS versions, and screen sizes; knowledge of testing tools like TestFlight, Firebase, or BrowserStack is a plus

Compensation: 5-20L per annum

Hours: You must be able to have some PST overlap (until 11 AM PST)
