Hello there, we’re Alan.
Wait… what is Alan?
Alan exists to reimagine the health system by creating a better experience centered on the user. Alan is a subscription to better living, where health is a part of the way you want to live, not a restriction on your way of living. Alan is your friend in health and your partner in the system.
We started by creating the first digital health insurance company in Europe! Specifically, we’re the first new insurance in France since… 1986! And we’ve raised more than €125m in less than four years from leading investors such as Index Ventures, Temasek and DST Global Partners.
We are growing at an extraordinary fast pace, onboarding a lot of new people in different countries, and the culture should stay easily understandable from newcomers. Alan success is rooted in a culture of distributed ownership and radical transparency. We developed a unique organization structure, hierarchy free, and tailor made processes to enable Alaners to thrive in our hypergrowth environment.
Your mission will be to:
- Own and scale our People development processes: Performance reviews which are 360 feedback based and Promotion processes, coaching
- Own the consistency framework of our Communities Job Leveling grids and advise on future editions
- Steward career pathing across communities and enable Alaners stretching their skills
- Contribute to the design of learning curriculum on our core processes and know-how
- Select and administer top notch providers to offer a wide spectrum of learning opportunities to Alaners, on non-core matters
- Contribute to developing ad-hoc programs to groom our culture buddies and future coaches
- Contributes to scale our distributed organization and supports Communities growth when developing new operating models
