A critical part of our value proposition to retailers is to provide them with payment terms (30 Days, 60 Days, Installments) when they purchase on Ankorstore. We also want to continuously innovate and find creative ways to maximise the impact of payment terms on our business — you will be in charge of driving and executing on our strategy across Europe on this matter.

Define our Payment Terms strategy across European countries

  • Identify and develop key partnerships with Fintechs to deploy Payment Terms consistently across Europe — own the relationship with them and continuously iterate to improve our offering (eligibility, maximum limits) and reduce default rates
  • Contribute to the design of commercial offering linked to financing (e.g., Prime-like retailer membership with a Payment Terms component)
  • Build innovative / new financing structures (e.g., low interest debt) to deploy special financing programs dedicated to high potential segments of clients
  • Manage overall risk of Financing activity at Ankorstore (e.g., fraud detection, compliance, level of exposure)
  • Work closely with our Product, Sales and Ops / Customer Service teams to make sure our services exceed the expectations of our users

Profil recherché

The experience we require:

  • You have 5+ years of experience in SMBs lending in Europe
  • You have demonstrated your ability to solve complex issues through deep analytical work
  • You can drive the fast implementation of projects involving multiple external partners
  • You have a deep understanding of European countries specifics in terms of Financing & Credit Scoring for SMBs
  • You have experience in building creative / complex financing structures as the backbone of new commercial offers

Most important qualities to succeed in this role:

  • You are rigorous and very analytical
  • You have a strong entrepreneurial spirit
  • You are “geeky”, you love working with new tools and automate as many things as possible
  • You like to think out of the box and be creative

Other qualities that would add value:

  • Knowledge of the wholesale or retailer industry
  • Experience working in a fast-growing tech environment, preferably marketplace
  • Experience in managing payment term operations (credit scoring, recollection)
  • Experience with structuring Finance vehicles as the backbone of new commercial offers
