As a web scraper, you’ll be generating leads for both sides of our B2B marketplace (Brands and Retailers) through various channels to produce high intent leads.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Mining, extracting, cleaning, and enriching data from various sources
  • Helping build web scraping scripts using Python
  • Assisting in the development of frameworks to automate the inflow of leads
  • Uploading, maintaining, and extracting data from a database warehouse
  • Developing a concrete understanding of the variety of current sources and find creative new sources for leads

Preferred experience

Optimal qualifications and skills for this role:

  • Fluency in English
  • Coding experience in Python (Java/Javascript a plus)
  • Experience with some form of web scraping tech (e.g. Data Miner, Web Scraper, Parsehub, etc.)
  • Experience using database warehouses (e.g. Big Query)
  • SQL skills: emphasis on Xpath and Regex

Other skills that would add value:

  • Experience scaling acquisitions of marketplaces (supply and/or demand side)
  • Ability to work independently
  • Analytical nature
  • Strong desire to learn new processes and innovate current lead generation process
  • An innate sense of curiosity and ability to work in a fast-paced environment (you’ll need to stay on top of what’s new in the processes)
  • Fluency in German, Dutch or Swedish is a plus
  • Fluency in any other european language is also a plus
  • Knowledge of CRMs (e.g. Hubspot or Salesforce)
