In founding Ankorstore in 2019, they set the goal to create a virtuous ecosystem at the service of independent shops and brands.

Job description

As the Go-to-market and Commercial Strategy Lead for the Markets team, you will be responsible to design and implement the go-to-market strategy to make Ankorstore the undisputed leader in Europe, closely following-up on competition and identifying untapped business opportunities.

You will be reporting directly to the VP Markets and be responsible to:

  • Define the go-to-market strategy for core countries
  • Identify Ideal Customer profile and buyer personas per market by doing a quantitative & qualitative analysis
  • Define the strategy to reach this ICP:
  • Understand product-market fit, by spotting specific pain points and adapt value proposition(s) accordingly
  • Define the relevant operating model (e.g inside sales, field sales…)
  • Define & monitor key Performance Indicators & milestones to be achieved
  • Design and run a comprehensive competitive analysis
  • Research major competitors to gain insight into their product, sales and marketing tactics
  • Understand the competitors offers and suggest potential adaptations of Ankorstore’s value proposition(s)
  • Identify untapped growth opportunities
  • Support sales team to identify opportunities in new or existing verticals
  • Define territory coverage model and follow-up closely

What we are looking for:

  • 4+ years of relevant experience including 3+ years in a top-tier strategy consulting firm and ideally an experience in a start-up or scale-up environment
  • You are a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, with a successful track record partnering and influencing senior stakeholders
  • You take accountability for mistakes and constantly try to learn & grow
  • You are resourceful and happy to roll up your sleeves to get any job done
  • You are able to work in a fast paced environment with a high degree of uncertainty
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English
