The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Healthcare Recruiter to join our team. This is a remote position, based in India, focused on recruiting qualified early career (0-3 yrs exp)healthcare professionals for clients in Canada. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare recruiting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. We strongly prefer individuals with high agency as this is a nascent business and we want them to teach us about the nuances of healthcare recruiting as well.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top healthcare talent.
- Source candidates using various platforms including online job boards, social media, professional networks & ApplyBoard’s Recruitment Partner network.
- Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates for specific job openings.
- Conduct interviews to assess candidate qualifications and suitability for the role.
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities in Canada to understand their hiring needs and provide suitable candidates.
- Assist with salary and benefits negotiations as needed.
- Maintain an up-to-date database of potential candidates(including soon-to-be-graduate and soon-to-be-licensed) and recruiting activities.
- Ensure all candidates meet the regulatory requirements of the Canadian healthcare system.
- Provide regular updates to clients on recruitment progress and candidate status.
- Implement systems, processes and automations in place to help us scale faster.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare recruiting.
- Familiarity with the Canadian healthcare system and its regulatory requirements is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using recruitment software and applicant tracking systems.
- Ability to build systems and processes to scale faster.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with candidates and clients.
- Ability to adjust work schedule to have a reasonable overlap with Eastern Time Zone(GMT-5)
