The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Director, Global Rewards and Wellbeing, this new and critical role will provide Total Rewards and People Analytics support and administration on a broad range of total rewards topics, including compensation and analysis, bonus/incentive programs, benefit programs, and people analytics dashboards.
You will be the first point of contact for employees and leaders who have inquiries on all facets of ApplyBoard’s Total Rewards programs. You will be successful in this role if you’re someone who has advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, strong data analysis experience, and can take ownership of tasks and see them through to execution. While this isn’t a people leadership role, your success will be based on building strong relationships with the business globally (employees and leaders) to assert yourself as a subject-matter expert on all total rewards topics.
Responsibilities
- Administer ApplyBoard’s salary structure and compensation program, ensuring compliance with relevant legislative requirements and applicable policies. Conduct analysis of both internal equity and external competitiveness.
- Collect, organize and report data for participation in industry surveys. Act as the first point of contact for all compensation requests.
- Administer ApplyBoard’s Group Benefits and Employee Assistance Programs globally, ensuring employees are properly educated on the benefits available to them and that their coverage is accurate.
- Conduct regular benefits reconciliation to payroll to ensure accuracy in deductions.
- Maintain the HRIS with benefit data. Act as the first point of contact for all benefit requests. Participate in meetings with third-party advisors to discuss plan status and/or review plan design.
- Participate in ongoing Workday initiatives including data audits and configuration support of compensation and benefits modules.
- Assist with the development of a variety of communications and employee education materials.
- Support all compensation programs including annual merit increases and annual incentive processes.
- Provide enterprise-wide data analytics for People and Culture, including creating monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc metrics and presentations for senior leadership and the broader People and Culture team to analyze trends.
- Proactively participate in HRIS management by ensuring data accuracy and reconciliations.
- Document total rewards processes and maintain and educate the broader organization.
Qualifications
- College or University degree in a related discipline, such as Human Resources, Mathematics, or Business. Completion or working towards a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist and/or Certified Compensation Specialist designation is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years experience working in a Total Rewards function as an Analyst or Specialist. Must have directly managed compensation programs, group benefits programs, and annual total rewards cycles (i.e. merit and variable pay). Prior experience administering stock plans is an asset, but not required.
- Experience with administration of international benefits plans, specifically American and Indian, is considered an asset.
- Previous experience with Workday.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience generating robust People Analytics dashboards is required.
- Advanced level Microsoft Excel skills required. Must have experience using Excel to analyze large data sets quickly and accurately (i.e. basic formulas, VLOOKUPS, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables).
- Familiarity with Google Sheets is an asset.
