About the Role

We’re looking for a Developer Relations Manager to join us in our mission to transform software engineering. In this role, you will be the face of Augment Code within the developer community, creating and nurturing relationships with developers to drive awareness, adoption, and advocacy for our tools. You will build bridges between developers and our internal teams, ensuring their feedback directly shapes the future of our products.

This is a unique opportunity to define and scale developer relations at a fast-paced, developer-centric startup. Reporting directly to our Chief Product Officer (CPO), you’ll play a critical role in fostering a vibrant community around Augment’s tools and empowering developers to succeed.

Examples of What You Could Do:

• Develop and execute strategies to engage with developers across various platforms, including social media, conferences, and online communities.
• Create and deliver compelling technical content such as tutorials, blog posts, videos, and talks to showcase the value of Augment’s tools.
• Build strong relationships with key developers, influencers, and partners, turning them into advocates for Augment.
• Host and participate in developer events, hackathons, and meetups to connect directly with the community.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure developer feedback informs product development.
• Analyze engagement metrics and community feedback to continuously improve our developer relations strategy.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, or a related function.
• Proven ability to create and execute developer engagement strategies.
• Strong technical background, with experience in software engineering or working with developer tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for explaining technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience hosting or participating in developer events, conferences, or online communities.
• Self-starter mentality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Base Salary: $180K to $220K, plus equity.
