We’re searching for a Senior Staff Digital & Social Marketing Manager.

As the Senior Staff Digital & Social Marketing Manager, you will play a critical role in developing and executing digital marketing strategies that expand Aurora’s online presence and audience engagement in anticipation of our 2025 product launch. You’ll oversee digital and social media marketing efforts, extracting actionable insights to guide and measure success.
We’re looking for a seasoned digital marketing leader with deep expertise in digital strategy, social media, and content marketing within the B2B tech space or similar industries. The ideal candidate is both a creative storyteller who can translate complex technical concepts into compelling product stories, and a strategic thinker with a keen understanding of digital trends and social media platforms. Self-motivation, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize, and balance competing demands are essential.
In this role, you will
Digital Marketing
- Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with company goals to drive brand awareness, audience engagement, and lead generation.
- Lead the planning and execution of integrated digital media campaigns across paid and owned channels.
- Partner cross-functionally to create product stories that engage target audiences through digital and social channels.
- Manage the ongoing redesign of aurora.tech with an agency partner and own content strategy and updates to the website on an ongoing basis.
- Oversee SEO and SEM to ensure strong digital presence and search visibility.
- Leverage analytics tools to assess campaign effectiveness, social media impact, and website engagement, using insights for ongoing optimization.
Social Media
- Lead the company’s social media strategy and manage its growth across platforms including LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Drive content strategy and collaborate with the marketing, comms, and creative teams to develop engaging social content and maintain a robust social media pipeline and editorial calendar.
- Deploy and monitor content and nurture a community of followers, enhancing engagement through responsive and relevant interactions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and platform updates to drive innovative social strategies.
- Provide regular reports and insights to leadership, identifying areas for optimization and growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of experience in digital marketing within an agency, campaign, or B2B marketing setting.
- Proven track record as a digital marketing generalist with deep expertise in digital media, social media, and content development.
- Strong proficiency with digital marketing tools (like Google Analytics, Sprout Social, Semrush) and ad platforms (like LinkedIn, Google Ads, TTD).
- Expertise in social media content creation and management across platforms including LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, as well as website CMS.
- Experience managing paid media campaigns and using data analytics for optimization.
- In-depth knowledge of digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices.
- Act as a strategic advisor and subject matter expert to diverse internal stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
- Able to build trust and drive consensus with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work well under pressure and effectively manage change, ambiguity and shifting priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility to travel and work across time zones as needed.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience managing a team. While this role does not have any direct reports immediately, our team will grow in the coming years and there is potential for this role to become a management position.
- Basic knowledge of design tools / ability to visually communicate new concepts or basic mockups
The base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $240,000 per year. Aurora’s pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
