Aurora hires talented people with diverse backgrounds who are ready to help build a transportation ecosystem that will make our roads safer, get crucial goods where they need to go, and make mobility more efficient and accessible for all. We’re searching for a Developer Support lead to work closely with engineering leadership to continue to grow and scale our internal support operations.

In this role, you will

  • Partner with the engineering leadership of Developer Platform, Infrastructure, and other internal teams to identify opportunities to expand the footprint and scope of our Developer Support Team
  • Direct daily work and long term priorities of the Developer Support team; partner closely with engineering leadership to set and achieve long term goals for support expansion
  • Design, launch, and refine internal support processes that allow us to scalably provide a high quality level of service to internal customers
  • Define, measure, and assess support team metrics and KPIs to ensure delivery against internal SLAs and customer expectations
  • Track project status and overall support team health and provide updates to engineering leadership/work closely with leadership as needed to deliver on support goals
  • Manage support staffing and schedules, including integration with engineering on-call rotations and incident management
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and performance feedback to Developer Support team members

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in technical or business/operations field (or equivalent working experience)
  • Minimum 2 years people management/team lead experience
  • Strong executive communication skills and exceptional writing skills
  • Past experience in a customer facing/support-oriented role strongly preferred
  • Past experience with developer tooling, software development workflows, and related areas is a huge plus
