The supply chain, ops and finance/accounting organizations are responsible for maintaining accurate asset inventory for vehicles and spare parts. These assets make up the largest capital investments of the business aside from facilities and employees. Proper process and product support ensures that Bird is able to maintain accurate accounting and tracking of it's most valuable vehicle assets. This role is responsible for delivering critical products and features that ensure Bird's supply chain and operations always have an accurate picture of vehicle inventory, and accounting is able to close its books in a timely manner at the end of the quarter due to low reconciliation cost. Products required are focused on accurate asset counting, transfer tracing, warehouse and inventory bin creation and management, and system integrations.

Responsibilities:

  • Consult with customers and stakeholders on critical needs
  • Consult with design and engineering on potential solutions to the issues
  • Develop product strategy and align with stakeholders on scoping of solution
  • Work with engineering to consult on engineering solution, sequencing of work and blocker resolution
  • Ship products AND drive adoption of products in partnership with operations and customer support
  • Communicate impact of efforts with stakeholders and constituents.

Required:

  • Minimum 2+ Product Management experience
  • Bachelor's degree (master's preferred) in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or related technical discipline

  • Experience working within high-growth technology environments
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, independent and self-motivated, and results-oriented
  • Comfortable managing ambiguity and providing structure for engineering teams
  • Be data-driven; Regularly seek out and use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and opinions
