Marketing Artist:

As a Marketing Artist at BIT ODD, you’ll create eye-catching visuals for Field Day - our debut game on mobile. This is a fixed-term role through Jan 31, 2027, focused on the global launch of Field Day. The role covers the launch campaign and its immediate follow-up. You will work in a small team, taking ownership of both marketing creatives and gameplay capture. You’ll collaborate closely with our publishing team to produce ads, videos, and store assets that bring our game to life. Your expertise in composition, motion, and capturing great gameplay moments will ensure everything we put in front of players feels exciting, polished, and true to the game.

What You Do

• Ideate and produce first cuts on high-performing marketing creatives, including videos, static ads, and social media content

• Capture compelling gameplay footage that showcases the game’s core moments and features

• Edit and iterate on ad creatives based on performance data and feedback

• Produce App Store and Google Play assets (icons, screenshots, trailers)

• Set up and maintain efficient workflows for gameplay capture and asset production

• Explore new creative angles, hooks, and formats to improve marketing performance

• Ensure visual consistency and quality across all marketing materials

• Stay up to date with trends in mobile game advertising and competitor creatives

What You Bring

• Experience creating marketing assets for games, ideally for mobile and performance marketing

• Strong skills in video editing and motion (e.g. After Effects, Premiere, or similar)

• Experience with 3d modeling

• Good eye for composition, pacing, and what makes visuals engaging and clickable

• Experience capturing gameplay footage and understanding what moments resonate with players

• Familiarity with App Store and Google Play asset requirements and best practices

• Ability to iterate quickly based on data and creative feedback

• Understanding of mobile UA creatives and what drives performance (hooks, clarity, payoff)

• Passion for Field Day and what makes this game unique

• Self-starter attitude with ownership over creative output and results

You’ll be working on-site at our office right in the very center of Helsinki. Great teamwork happens in person, so this role is not remote, and we are currently not considering candidates requiring relocation. For this role, we offer a fixed-term contract until January 31st, 2027.

BIT ODD is a group of passionate game artisans hand-crafting mobile games. Our wild idea is this: games should be focused around gameplay and attract players through emotion and innovation rather than just conforming to traditional metrics. They should be made from the ground up with an emphasis on the player experience. They shouldn't be about how many adverts we can show in the first minute, or about how to get players to miss-click on “buy”.

Our debut game Field Day is a fast-paced mobile PvPvE experience built on this philosophy.
