About this Role:
BRINC is seeking an Associate Buyer to join the procurement team. You will be responsible for reviewing purchasing tickets, communicating with suppliers on price/lead time, issuing purchase orders, and maintaining accurate procurement data in our ERP tool. The Buyer will work closely with our Global Demand Planner to understand product forecasts and how to utilize our supply chain to maintain healthy inventory positions. They will also partner with other departments, such as logistics, finance, and production, to ensure procurement activities support business goals. The ideal candidate will have high attention to detail and will demonstrate effective communication with both internal teams and external suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:

Vendor Management:
Maintaining vendor follow-through and communication including tracking PO status and cancelling expired POs.
Working with vendors to reach favorable pricing/lead time/payment terms.
Relay any issues related to supplier performance and/or product quality.
Partner with global supply chain on any customs related issues.

Procurement Operations:
Manage the end-to-end procurement process including requisition, order placement, and delivery tracking.
Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
Ensure procurement process is adhered to, including required information and approvals. Support invoice reconciliation.
Maintain accurate data in procurement tool related to delivery forecasts, PO modifications, pricing, lead times, part number/revision changes, etc.
Work closely with engineering teams to support new sourcing initiatives for R&D and NPI.

Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare and present procurement reports, metrics, and analysis to senior management.

Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills

Experience with Excel
Preferred Skills:
3+ years of Excel experience
1+ years of ERP/MRP experience
Proven experience in global procurement, sourcing, or supplier management
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
