Reporting directly to the President, the Executive Assistant will provide administrative support directly to both Built’s President & CTO. We are looking for an energetic, qualified individual with knockout communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, a can-do (“at-cause”) mindset, and the ability to continually see around corners / anticipate the needs of the President & CTO at Built. The ideal candidate will take great pride in their role and serve as an ambassador for Built.

In this Role, You Will:

  • Independently provide high-quality support to both the President & CTO
  • Act as a liaison, problem-solver, facilitator, and first point of contact for these executives and other leaders in their respective departments
  • Manage day-to-day workflows while maintaining a work environment that enables the success of Built
  • Provide extensive calendar and expense management, anticipating needs and proactively and effectively managing time accordingly
  • Screen incoming calls and correspondence, responding independently where appropriate
  • Coordinate events, including but not limited to: quarterly board meetings, team-building, and off-sites
  • Assist the President & CTO in the completion of high-level reports, team communication, documentation, and presentations
  • Create and maintain various databases, reports, and records, as well as produce, verify and analyze data
  • Independently run small projects and initiatives
  • Collaborate with other senior leaders to enable an agile business culture


  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of EA experience to a C-level leader in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with high attention to detail
  • High levels of business acumen and natural curiosity
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the right balance of friendliness and firmness
  • Impeccable note taker
  • Excellent communication skills--both written and verbal
  • Outstanding work ethic
  • Exceptional phone etiquette
  • Strong time-management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
  • Strong Presentation Skills (with deep command of Powerpoint & Excel)
  • Strong analytical, math, and problem-solving skills
  • Can-do attitude with a willingness to pitch in
  • Computer savvy with advanced knowledge of modern SaaS software i.e. Slack, Salesforce, and Google Docs
  • Knowledge of software projects and event management is a plus
