The Strategic Finance team at Built plays a critical role in developing and executing the company’s multi-year plan. Reporting to Built’s FP&A leader and working closely with the VP of Finance, you will become a trusted advisor to leaders across the organization. You won’t be satisfied with reporting the news – you will shape the news. You will use your analytical mind, communication skills, and deep knowledge of the business to drive well-informed decisions in pursuit of Built’s ambitious goals.

In this role, you will:

  • Build, own, and refine sophisticated financial models; synthesize key outputs for executive decision-making
  • Run the annual financial planning process
  • Own the company’s long term financial model
  • Advise business unit leaders to help them manage their P&Ls
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of our various businesses and develop a deep understanding of key value drivers to identify improvement areas and opportunities
  • Assist with evaluation of new business opportunities
  • Support development of stakeholder presentations to facilitate management discussions and articulate the company’s strategic vision
  • Build and scale cross-functional decision-making Mechanisms to help the company maintain its high growth trajectory
  • Participate in potential future capital raises and M&A
  • Help establish an Investor Relations/Capital Markets function

Qualifications:

  • 0-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, management consulting, corporate strategy, or another relevant role
  • Excel expert and experience with making large complex data sets produce useful information
