We are looking for a Head of People located in London, UK and joining at a very exciting time for the business. The role will be primarily working on recruitment and optimizing employee experience at Clausematch. You will work closely with all functions distributed across the globe (Europe, US and Asia).

The new role has emerged due to the business growth and expansion of the business, as we would like to lessen the impact of scaling on the organisation’s carefully cultivated culture. It will entail the establishment of new processes and protocols, with a readiness to tackle challenges of a business entering new geographies and integrating new hires. We are particularly interested to hear from candidates with a background or interest in B2B SaaS technology.

Big plus if you had experience in a start-up of a similar size and in a similar phase of team growth - doubling team size from 50 to 100 people.

The role will involve:

  • Work closely with Head of Recruitment to drive the hiring plan and coordinate the team’s engagement in the hiring process, fostering a more diverse and inclusive approach to hiring and recognition
  • Design our employees’ hiring experience - from interview to onboarding, owning all operational and administrative processes like testing the culture fit, closing a prospect, welcoming new joiners, payroll and contract-related topics
  • Maintain excellent internal communication up-and-down the team, build a culture of togetherness in the world of remote work, create engaging events and other initiatives aimed at strengthening bonds in the workforce of a global scale-up

  • Embed cultural values into every day’s work-life
  • Coach Clausematch management on people-related matters, such as talent acquisition and management, leadership and organisational design compensation strategy, dealing with employee relations and establishing performance review.
  • Help our management develop career plans, embed employee objectives and implement learning & development initiatives to drive performance, internal promotions and retention
  • Automate the existing HR processes, streamline the internal administrative processes & establish new frameworks to drive organisational efficiency which includes a matrix of roles and responsibilities for all staff.
  • Continuously improve compliance for all national and local regulations when it comes to hiring and managing people across the globe

Requirements

  • 7+ years of previous experience in HR; o/w 3+ years are in a management role growing a People function
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders
  • Passionate about technology and how it can be used to drive business impact
  • Outstanding integrity, communication and interpersonable skills, as well as an ability to listen carefully
  • Willingness to relocate to London and fluency in English
