About the role As a Business Development Manager at Coalition, you will lead the efforts in creating and maintaining relationships with our brokerage partners and customers. We are looking for an experienced sales leader to guide and empower the success of our partners by aligning Coalition’s best ideas, innovations, and capabilities with a broker’s business goals. You will not only drive sales but also manage a team of business development professionals to achieve strategic objectives. Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee the development of new broker relationships from inbound leads and strategic outreach.
  • Strategize and identify target brokers and clients for new outbound campaigns.
  • Mentor and manage a team to ensure the achievement of target quotas, qualified opportunities, sales pipeline value, and closed business.
  • Report on and oversee the tracking and management of sales activities and results, ensuring accurate forecasting.
  • Manage and guide all post-sales activities for Coalition’s broker partners through effective leadership and strategic relationship management.
  • Take ownership of overall broker satisfaction with Coalition’s services, enhancing the customer experience.
  • Equip your team with a deep understanding of our solutions (insurance and technology) to effectively address broker needs.
  • Identify and proactively resolve risks impacting brokers' business goals.
  • Monitor and analyze performance trends in Coalition adoption and utilization, providing strategic guidance as part of brokers’ Success Reviews.
Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in selling commercial insurance, with demonstrated ability in sales leadership.
  • Familiarity with Cyber Liability and Technology E&O insurance.
  • Established relationships with local country and/or European broker partners.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial spirit with a strategic vision.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, virtual environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Capacity to quickly learn and relay technical concepts and terms.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and drive team success.
  • Proficiency in English.

  • Experience with other Financial Lines insurance products.
