About the roleCybersecurity threats have become the fastest-growing risk impacting small and midsize businesses, with cybercrime costing businesses $6 trillion+ in 2022 alone. Coalition has pioneered a unique approach to help protect small and midsize businesses from cyber risk by combining technology and insurance to help protect our customers from fast-moving digital risks.
We’re seeking a Director of Demand Generation to manage a team of high performing marketers across our insurance and cybersecurity business lines. This is a strategic new hire tasked with elevating our campaign strategy, design, planning and execution capabilities across multiple segments and business lines. Ideal candidates will be experienced and eager to flex across proven B2B SaaS growth tactics for our cybersecurity business, as well as novel strategies for engaging our insurance based broker channel.
The role will own campaign orchestration, channel performance, reporting and optimization within the demand generation organization. Critical stakeholders include the PMM and content teams, as well as forging strong relationships with our sales organization. Utilizing a mix of owned, earned and paid channels, you will optimize our industry-leading position within cyber insurance, while building a nascent but rapidly growing cyber security SaaS business.
Success in this role would result in increasing the submission pipeline for Coalition’s insurance products through our broker channel, while driving ARR in our security business. Past experience leveraging channels or intermediaries in the sales process is a plus.
Responsibilities- Own the campaign planning and execution function to drive coherent and impactful marketing campaigns across audience segments. Build repeatable processes for designing customer journeys, budget, and personnel allocation.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of campaign managers, providing guidance on campaign development, best practices, and performance optimization.
- Monitor the progress and results of marketing campaigns to ensure they meet objectives and provide reports to executive leadership on campaign performance, ROI, and market impact.
- Work with data teams to design and build requirements for segmentation and audience targeting
- Work closely with PMMs and Content teams to ensure the coordinated delivery of all elements related to campaign requirements
- Collaborate with Sales and other cross-functional teams as needed to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with sales objectives and increase utilization of marketing content
- Allocate and manage marketing budgets, ensuring effective use of resources across various campaigns and projects.
- 7+ years of experience in a demand generation or growth marketing role.
- Previous leadership experience managing teams in high performance environments
- Experience driving vertical marketing or channel based programs via field sales. Insurance and/or fintech and healthtech verticals are a plus but not required.
- Experience driving multi channel, high performing, integrated campaigns to meet marketing goals and objectives.
- Proficiency in performance analysis, campaign assessment, and audience segmentation
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and the ability to handle high levels of ambiguity.
- High attention to detail, and the ability to lead and manage complex projects effectively
- Solid understanding of online and offline channels (such as email, social, paid ads, DM etc), attribution, best practices and tracking
- Skillfully manage senior leadership/exec/C-level to communicate on campaigns
- Ability to set clear goals, identify possible blockers, make the right tradeoffs and mediate between teams to find best possible outcomes for the organization
- Budget Management: Proficiency in planning and managing campaign budgets to maximize ROI
- Project Planning: Strong organizational skills to plan and coordinate multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Previous experience and understanding of how to leverage automation tools and martech to creatively execute and report on campaign results.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The US base salary for this position ranges from $160,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $200,000/year in our highest geographic market. Consistent with applicable laws, an employee's pay within this range is based on a number of factors, which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location.
