Responsibilities
  • Lead, hire, and grow our team of Machine Learning Scientists, and Machine Learning Engineers to bring the long-term AI vision and strategy for AI at Coalition to life.
  • Work with cross-functional partners across product, engineering, research, operations, marketing, sales, and customer success to identify opportunities to drive impact with AI/ML solutions..
  • Deliver state-of-the-art ML and LLM applications to solve high-impact and challenging AI use cases across all product and business areas.
  • Evolve our MLOps and LLMOps development platforms to efficiently deploy AI applications and models into production.
  • Serve as an AI/ML expert to provide in-depth knowledge of the latest ML, LLM, genAI techniques, algorithms, and frameworks. Be ready to roll up the sleeves and take hands-on work in AI/ML development as needed to ensure robust and high-quality AI/ML modeling and platform deliverables.
Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of industry experience developing AI/ML models and platform offerings with business impact, and shipping AI/ML applications to production.
  • Leadership roles on AI/ML teams
  • Proven experience in delivering AI/ML solutions with end-to-end processes from initiation, problem formulation, model development, experimentation, deployment, and measurement to drive business impact.
  • Experience with AI/ML platform development, operation and optimization to deploy AI models to production.
  • Experience in building cross-functional influence with partner teams across broad disciplines including tech and business functions.
  • Experience with growing and coaching AI/ML teams across different career levels
  • M.S., or PhD. in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Math, Operations Research, Statistics, Physics, or other quantitative field.
Bonus Skills
  • Experience in insurance, cyber security, insurtech or fintech industries
Compensation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The US base salary for this position ranges from $185,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $250,000/year in our highest geographic market. Consistent with applicable laws, an employee's pay within this range is based on a number of factors, which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location. Your recruiter can share more on target salary for your location during the interview process. Coalition, Inc. reserves the right to modify this range as needed.
