As a Product Data Analyst, you will be joining the Product team and report to the Chief of Staff for Product and Engineering. The chief of staff works in support of the Product, Design, Engineering and Security senior leadership.

The Product Data Analyst you will be instrumental for nurturing a customer and data centric approach in our Product, Design and Engineering organisation by building data products in our Collibra’s Data Catalog.

Product Data Analysts at Collibra are responsible for:

  • Collaboratively designing and building data pipelines and reporting datamarts to support Product, Design and Engineering Leadership KPI dashboards for critical processes and systems (like Pendo, Jira, Aha!, Salesforce, Zendesk, …)
  • Building dashboards to visualise those KPI on a recurring basis
  • Governing and cataloging the KPIs, metrics, pipelines, the datamarts and dashboards in Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud (or Drink your own champagne, dg.collibra.com)
  • Supporting adhoc questions from Product, Design and Engineering leadership team for data requests and visualization
  • Promoting a data-driven culture in Product, Design and Engineering (Enable your stakeholders to leverage your work and build their own insights)
  • Being the key stakeholder for Product, Design and Engineering to the Data Office team to build and maintain a full self-service model where every team can add queries to get insights in product usage or content from our cloud customer base

You Have:

  • 5+ years experience performing data analysis and business intelligence projects related to business functions
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases, query authoring as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
  • Experience with cloud-based data infrastructures (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Experience with Data pipeline tools like Airflow and dashboarding tools like Tableau or Redash.
  • Some programming experience with object oriented languages like Python, Java, and/or Scala.
  • Experience with software development life cycle process and tooling in a data analysis context (Jira, Aha, Zendesk, Pendo, etc.)

Measuring Success:

  • Within your first month, you will be successfully onboarded in the Product, Design and Engineering team and you will be more familiar with Collibra’s Data Lake and Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud products like Data Governance, Data Catalog and Data Marketplace
  • Within your first three months, you will have built your first end to end data products and made those available on the Collibra Data Marketplace
