We are looking for an ambitious and talented Financial Strategy Analyst to help continue to drive rapid growth in our AI-based financial crime intelligence platform. We help businesses detect and prevent money laundering, payment fraud and other financial crimes to drive a safer world and stop money ending up in the hands of terrorists. You will join the Financial Strategy Team to help shape the future strategy of the business.

The Role

You’ll work within the Financial Strategy team to analyse business and financial performance and communicate insights and findings to senior stakeholders to help shape the future strategy of the firm, including:

  • Helping to produce the annual business plan and regular forecasts
  • Regular reporting and understanding variances vs plan
  • Strategic analyses which helps the business to achieve targets, including interacting with stakeholders to develop investment cases and understand cost drivers
  • Assist in preparing Board presentations and KPI packs for our investors
  • Financial modelling and cash flow analysis
  • Support on future corporate finance events, such as fundraises and acquisitions
  • Help implement improved processes and tools to improve the quality of forecasts and financial analysis
  • Opportunity to learn and develop skills on all the above from the Director of Financial Strategy and CFO as well as the rest of the Financial Strategy team

The Requirements

We’re looking for a smart, ambitious and highly motivated individual that takes pride in their work. You will be numerically fluent, logically-minded and confident in your ability to deliver on the points covered above.

Our key requirements include:

  • 2-3 years’ work experience in FP&A or Financial Strategy
  • Prior experience within a SaaS / technology company is desired but not essential
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with an ability to think independently and draw conclusions
  • Great communicator and ability to explain complex topics in a simplified way
  • Strong modelling and financial analysis experience
  • Highly proficient with Excel / Sheets and Powerpoint / Slides
  • Strong knowledge of three financial statements and accounting methodologies (accounting qualification not required)
  • Comfortable extracting and combining data from a variety of systems
  • Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders on all levels of the organisation
  • Able to consistently organise own workload and projects
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with strong academic credentials
