About the Opportunity:

This role will be a coordinator role within our Professional Services and Education (PS&E) Operations team. The role will reside in the PS&E Strategy & Operations team and act as a trusted partner to our PS&E organization. They will oversee Education’s subscription offerings and provide onboarding and support to Confluent accounts.

This position reports to the Senior Manager, Education Services Operations.



Key Responsibilities will include

  • Own the Customer Onboarding Education Subscription experience
  • Drive renewals through demonstration of subscription value
  • Create, communicate, and enable onboarding processes
  • Fulfillment of Education purchases
  • Responsible for all reporting creation and delivery tied to Education
  • Lead customer issue resolution through problem-solving and troubleshooting
  • Manage special projects/programs for the PS&E Ops Leadership team
  • Cross-train to provide PTO/overflow coverage for other operations roles within the team


  • Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Advanced troubleshooting and support skills
  • Knowledge of support ticketing systems and administration
  • Quickly adapt and learn internal systems
  • Ability to produce custom reports
  • Ability to foster and create an environment of collaboration
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills and presence in front of customers
  • Working knowledge of project management practices
  • Ability and desire to quickly learn new technology and products

  • Onboarding speeds up time to value for Education Subscription customers
  • Pervasive air of collaboration, partnership, and trust exists cross-functionally
  • Reporting against key business metrics
  • On-time project delivery
  • Timely, accurate, and consistent project reporting
  • Review and management of PS&E Ops tickets within the defined SLAs

What We’re Looking For

  • BS degree, preferably in Information Technology, Computing, Business, or Operations
  • Experience working with SFDC and LMS  tooling.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in education operations environments
  • Amazing customer service and can-do attitude
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to own and drive projects to completion
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, sense of ownership, and sense of urgency
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills, organizational skills
