What the Product Designer Job is All About:

We are looking for an experienced product designer to partner with the technology and product teams on our key initiatives. Someone who is passionate about developing strategies based off of insights, has the mastery to turn these insights into beautifully designed products (both interactions and visuals) and can inspire the organization by showing/prototyping what is possible before it is built.

The ability to effectively collaborate with multiple contributors and stakeholders is a key to success in this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify design problems and devise easy solutions. Facilitate design vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for our digital applications.
  • Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs.
  • Work with Product and Tech team to translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
  • Create and maintain existing UX/UI guidelines for the internal team.

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

  • Track record of excellence designing consumer products.
  • Strong knowledge of UX principles and best practices.
  • Deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
  • Ability to collaborate with the Product team to design complete user experiences.

Must Haves:

  • 4+ years of UX experience at consumer-focused tech companies.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Expertise in standard UX tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision.
  • Knowledge of front-end coding languages, tools, and version control software.
  • Agile/Scrum experience.
  • Experience designing Fintech or Insurtech products is a plus.
