About the Role As the Senior Director of Brand and Corporate Marketing, you will be instrumental in shaping and amplifying Culture Amp's brand narrative. You will ensure cohesive and compelling messaging across all touchpoints, creating customer experiences that drive engagement and loyalty. This position reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer. This role can be based at or near one of our hub locations: San Francisco/Bay Area, New York, or Chicago.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive corporate marketing strategy aligned with Culture Amp's growth goals, positioning us as the leading people and culture platform.
  • Market Research: Conduct research and develop and execute programs and content to deliver measurable improvements in Culture Amp’s brand awareness, perception, and preference among key buyers and influencers.
  • Brand Stewardship: Elevate and refine Culture Amp's brand identity, ensuring consistent, compelling, and innovative visual design across all marketing materials, digital platforms, and events.
  • Narrative Development: Create and maintain a compelling brand narrative that resonates with our target audiences: customers, prospects, partners, and employees.
  • Corporate Messaging Architecture: Develop and maintain a robust messaging architecture for consistent and effective communication across all channels.
  • Executive Partnership: Partner with the CEO to tell the Culture Amp story internally and externally, driving high employee engagement, candidate pull, investor confidence, and messaging clarity with customers, partners, and users.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Regional GMs, product, sales, and customer success teams to align brand strategy with business goals.
  • Social Marketing: Lead social media marketing efforts to drive community engagement and advocacy among Culture Amp's customers, prospects, partners, and influencers.
  • Visual & Verbal Identity: Oversee the development and maintenance of a compelling visual and verbal brand identity that reflects our brand's values and differentiates it in the marketplace.
  • Brand Architecture & Portfolio Strategy: Design and implement a coherent brand architecture and portfolio strategy that supports business objectives and enhances brand equity.
  • Brand Marketing & Sponsorship Strategy: Develop and execute innovative brand marketing and sponsorship strategies to drive engagement and loyalty among key stakeholders.
  • Brand Governance: Oversee the development of brand governance models and frameworks to guide adoption and application of the brand across the customer and employee journey.
  • Culture First Chapters Program: Oversee the continued evolution of our industry-leading Culture First Chapters program. This 100 Chapter strong volunteer-led initiative empowers communities worldwide to drive meaningful change in the workplace through engaging in-person and virtual gatherings. Working with the Culture First Chapters’ team, you'll guide the program's strategic growth, oversee the thought leadership agenda, explore closer brand connection, enhance its impact, and inspire a network of passionate individuals committed to creating a better world of work
  • Performance Metrics & Reporting: Establish and monitor brand and campaign KPIs to measure effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing brand marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Agency Partnerships: Oversee the selection and management of creative and other supporting agencies
  • Budget Management: Manage the brand marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve strategic objectives.

Qualifications

  • Senior Brand and Corporate Marketing Leader with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in marketing, brand, creative, and communications.
  • Experience working in B2B SaaS privately-held and public companies with a global remit.
  • Proven track record of scaling B2B SaaS businesses to $500M+ in revenue.
  • Category Creation: At least 3 years of experience in a brand and/or communications role for a company that had adopted a category creation strategy.
  • Inspiring storyteller with experience shaping brand, messaging, and content.
  • Proven experience promoting and distributing content at scale — identifying target audience touchpoints and meeting them where they are.
  • Expand Culture Amp’s ambitious thought leadership program that amplifies internal expertise and opinions and utilizes original research to position the company as a leading voice in the employee experience and performance space.
  • Experience in building and designing global volunteer-led thought leadership communities, with a proven track record of fostering engagement and driving impact through strategic program development
  • Systems thinker who can create scalable programs and operating models.
  • Analytical/data-driven operator obsessed with efficiency and creating measurable impact on business and revenue.
  • Strong leader who can hire and engage strong leaders and individual contributors.
  • First principles thinker who will think outside the box to identify objectives and design/implement appropriate solutions.
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator and leader across business units, segments, and regions.
  • No ego—will roll up sleeves to work tightly with their team, not simply lead it.
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Creative Mindset: A strong creative orientation, with the ability to bring fresh, innovative ideas to the table.
  • Adaptability: The ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment by adjusting to changing priorities and working effectively within a collaborative team.

For this role, the estimated base salary range is listed below. In addition to base salary, your compensation package will include additional components such as equity and benefits. For sales roles, your package may also include sales commission

The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual skills, capabilities and experience, objectively assessed during the interview process. Base Salary Range (US) $220—$240,000 USD
