At Cutover, we’re focused on helping Enterprise teams move quickly with confidence, so we’ve built the world’s first enterprise-wide work orchestration and observability platform that enables seamless human and machine collaboration. We’ve just announced a $35 million Series B financing round led by Eldridge (alongside existing investors Index Ventures, Sussex Place Ventures, and Contour Ventures) and we’re thrilled to be embarking on our next exciting chapters of growth.

We’ve been scaling our global team in a big way in 2021 and InfoSec is at the very core of what we do. Our most important asset is the data entrusted to us by our (oftentimes highly-regulated) Enterprise Clients, so it’s essential that we bring a no-stone-unturned approach to data security. Given how quickly our worldwide operations are growing, we’re excited to be looking for a London-based Security team member to join us to cover a full InfoSec scope, including key projects such as Audit support, Cloud Security and SIEM/SOC/SOAR implementation.

What you’ll be doing as our Information Security Engineer..

  • You’ll be collaborating across the board, partnering closely with Engineering on technical security initiatives.
  • You’ll work on multiple customer audits and provide detailed answers to their security questionnaires.
  • You’ll be a trusted advisor when dealing with external stakeholders, taking on client requests for information, and working closely with them whilst being onboarded.
  • You’ll collaborate with your InfoSec colleagues to create, refine and manage internal security policies to ensure compliance.
  • You’ll assist in developing and testing Cutover Cyber Resilience Runbooks (e.g., Malware outbreak, Phishing attack, DDoS, etc.)
  • You’ll review and audit 50+ SaaS vendors for compliance on an incoming and annual basis.
  • You’ll complete regular risk assessments and due diligence checks for third party suppliers
  • You’ll have an eye for making things scale: you’ll be at the core of implementing security and cyber-defence solutions that enable us to scale sustainably and securely during the coming chapters of our growth.
  • What we’d like you to bring to the table…
  • You have at least 2 years of cloud security experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure). You will understand how to build and monitor cloud components and be comfortable with cloud security concepts (e.g., key management services, security groups, IAM roles policy analysis, VPC configuration etc.)
  • You have at least 2 years of experience managing information security compliance and have a genuine passion for information security, privacy and data confidentiality.
  • You’ve ideally implemented/audited ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II audits systems in the past,  or at least, you have a sound knowledge level and are keen to learn more.
  • If you have an AWS or CISSP (or similar) certification, you’ll get an extra high-five coming your way.
  • You’re a credible communicator and can talk about InfoSec and security matters accurately and confidently to a large range of stakeholders, across seniority levels, roles, cultures and geographies.
  • You work with great tact and understand the importance of maintaining a high degree of trust and confidentiality in a role that can often handle sensitive information.
  • You’re willing to play a role on a truly global team: while the majority of your work will take place within core London office hours, there will be occasions where you’ll need to pitch in to help your global colleagues with high priority events outside of ‘usual’ working hours.
  • The good stuff...
  • You’ll be part of an early stage, rapidly scaling organization, with a meritocratic approach: we want to promote and retain our top performers.
  • Learning, development and personal growth are all important themes for us at Cutover; you’ll be empowered to build out your own learning plan, with budget given for courses, conferences and anything else that you feel is relevant to your growth here.
  • Safeguarding the mental health of our teams is paramount for us here at Cutover, especially after the crazy year that 2020 has been; if you’d like to, then you’ll be able to avail of multiple Cutover mental health initiatives, from fully subsidised therapy sessions, through to subscriptions to leading wellbeing platforms (and lots more in between).
  • You’ll be given motivating compensation, top-of-market benefits package for a Series B stage business, and allocated share options in a business backed by a truly world-class investment team at Index Ventures and Eldridge (we’re all co-owners and are genuinely invested in Cutover’s future success).
  • You’ll have a strong benefits plan: 25 days of PTO (+ Bank Holidays), top-tier private healthcare with Vitality, a solid pension offering with Aviva, work-from-home stipends (we’re going to continue as a remote-first team for the foreseeable), and all the company swag you could ever need.
