As the Release Platform PM, you’ll own the vision, roadmap, and execution of the Datadog Release Platform. You’ll work closely with product teams across Datadog, across the entire product portfolio to identify opportunities to generate customer value by spearheading cutting-edge features.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own the end-to-end product management process for the Release Platform within Datadog.
  • Work closely with Engineering teams to define and grow the release platform and ensure they meet performance, security and reliability standards.
  • Define and own interfaces for teams to manage their deployments as well as internal tools consolidation and experience within the organization.
  • Influence decisions by providing technical consultation and direction to stakeholders.
  • Deliver technical marketing literature to generate awareness and drive adoption of platform features.
  • Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the platform and report on them to business and executive leadership.

Who You Are:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Product Manager leading software development lifecycles (SDLC).
  • You have extensive experience and understanding working with cloud-native architecture.
  • You have excellent API lifecycle management, API gateways, load balancing, rate-limiting, throttling, security and charge models
  • You are obsessed with user experience and have built strong UI based products.
  • You possess a deep understanding of technologies across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • You possess the ability to gain a deep understanding of the system architecture and design concepts behind complex, enterprise-class software solutions at high transaction volumes.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making mindset.
  • You have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

Datadog offers a competitive salary and equity package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
