Revenue Assurance Manager

Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation, and growth drives everything we do. Our Finance team shapes the company's future by directing capital to high-impact investments, developing robust financial strategies, and ensuring we deliver long-term value while pursuing our ambitious mission.

We’re looking for a Revenue Assurance Manager to join our London team. In this role, you’ll build the vision and roadmap for Deliveroo’s Merchant revenue assurance programme, owning key SOX controls to ensure our commission and pricing structures are accurately configured and applied across all global business lines.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be joining the Sales Strategy & Operations team. We build the engine and foundation for our sales organisation, accelerating productivity and developing the go-to-market processes that allow Deliveroo to achieve the best selection for our platform and grow revenues across all business lines.

Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:

  • Programme Leadership: Own the end-to-end effectiveness of key SOX revenue controls, overseeing execution and ensuring high-quality output from the wider team.

  • Revenue Reconciliation: Accountable for contract-to-system-to-delivery charge reconciliations, reviewing outputs to ensure accuracy, identify trends, and assess risk areas.

  • Root Cause Remediation: Guide investigations into mismatches and partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Legal to remediate underlying issues and accelerate revenue growth.

  • Audit & Compliance: Demonstrate the operating effectiveness of all order-to-cash (OTC) controls to Accounting, Internal, and External Audit, maintaining impeccable audit-ready documentation.

  • Technical Innovation: Partner with Engineering to enhance reconciliation data views and scripts, identifying and deploying AI-forward solutions to improve control efficiency and insights.

  • Strategic Expansion: Drive the expansion of control scope to additional geographies and product areas, defining risk approaches and developing scalable reconciliation frameworks.

  • Stakeholder Synthesis: Present control outcomes, key risks, and strategic insights to Sales leadership, Engineering, and Internal Audit.

What You’ll Need to Thrive

Our ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in some of these areas and curiosity to grow in others:

  • Extensive Audit & SOX Expertise: Significant experience in external audit (Big 4 preferred), internal audit, or SOX compliance, with a deep focus on revenue-related controls.

  • OTC Process Mastery: A comprehensive understanding of revenue recognition and order-to-cash processes within high-growth technology environments.

  • Data & AI Fluency: Highly proficient in Excel with working knowledge of SQL; you are comfortable deploying AI tools and concepts to improve efficiency and controls.

  • Analytical Leadership: Proven ability to oversee complex investigations, identify systemic control gaps, and recommend scalable process improvements.

  • Communication & Influence: Experienced in managing senior stakeholders and interacting directly with auditors to support global business lines and multiple geographies.
