What you'll be doing:
Leverage your sales and communication expertise to onboard sought-after Grocery and Retail brands across Singapore onto the Deliveroo platform. By identifying popular local partners and understanding their unique business needs, you’ll utilise your business acumen, negotiation and selling skills to demonstrate the value of joining Deliveroo’s mission to transform the on-demand delivery industry.
Your role will include, but not limited to:
- Engage potential partners in insightful discussions focused on aligning goals, values, and objectives to create synergy and establish the groundwork for a successful long-term partnership.
- Conduct high-volume daily outreach to potential partnership leads, effectively presenting partnership opportunities and value propositions with Deliveroo
- Owning and maintaining a consistent sales pipeline, to exceed monthly sales targets Maintain comprehensive records within the CRM, ensuring full transparency across all sales activities.
- Passionately representing Deliveroo and resolving customer objections
- Negotiate partnership terms to align with and achieve overarching business objectives.
- Serve as an initial, on-the-ground presence for establishing new business verticals, utilising existing resources in a localised go-to-market strategy
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure alignment and support for partner success across all touchpoints
Skills you’ll need:
- Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build rapport and establish connections with stakeholders in both food and non-food retail establishments.
- Demonstrate strong business acumen by understanding market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and aligning partnership strategies with Deliveroo’s objectives for long-term success
- Thrives in a high-activity, fast-paced environment with a proactive approach to daily tasks.
- Proficient in data-driven discussions, with a background in digital ad sales as an added advantage.
- Skilled in closing sales by effectively securing buy-in and commitment from potential clients.
- Confident and experienced in pitching ideas and products that align with personal and professional passion.
- Technologically adept with experience in CRM tools for tracking and documenting interactions.
- Genuine interest in the food and restaurant industry, with a readiness to embrace Deliveroo’s passion-driven culture.
- Resilient and goal-oriented, demonstrating perseverance and a positive outlook even when faced with challenges or setbacks.
- Exceptional communication and persuasion abilities, with high emotional intelligence to engage and convert diverse audiences.
- Fluent in English.
- Mandarin would be a plus.
