About the Team

At Empathy, we're witnessing accelerated growth within the financial institutions industry, gaining momentum with life insurance carriers, financial advisory firms, credit unions, banks, and more nationwide.. Following a successful adoption of our Loss Support product (now covering 1 out of every 5 claims in the US), we wish to follow that path with our recently launched, state of the art, Estate Planning solution. For that, we are seeking an exceptional business development leader to spearhead our endeavors in this domain and unlock the vast growth potential before us.

We place immense value on cross-team cooperation, working collaboratively across departments to deliver superior products to our customers.

In this role you will

  • Lead the establishment and growth of Empathy's estate planning solutions, ensuring alignment with company goals and market needs.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy that encompasses product development, marketing messaging, and business development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with function leaders across the organization to leverage existing assets and create new ones, ensuring successful market entry and product adoption.
  • Continuously assess and refine product offerings based on customer feedback and market trends, maintaining a competitive edge in the industry.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in estate planning, financial services, or related fields.
  • Strong track record in leading sales teams, exceeding quotas and hiring and retaining top-talent
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer experience.
  • Passion for innovation and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Preferred

  • Experience in product development and go-to-market strategies is a plus.

The base salary for this position ranges between $160k-180k. This is decided based on many factors, including but not limited to: skills, qualifications, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, we are proud to offer stock options in the company and a competitive benefits package.
