Our London office is located in Old Street, London’s tech hub, home to a broad range of teams including Commercial, Marketing, and Product. We have large open plan spaces and a feature staircase connecting our 3 floors, encouraging our collaborative and open culture. We also have a big outdoor terrace where we can have lunch and host social events when the sun comes out!

The Role

The role will be responsible for providing data and insights to assist with delivering long term sustainable growth and guiding investment decisions. The role is within the Private Client team but will work cross functionally with data science, commercial, operations, marketing and product analytics teams to ensure a holistic view of the Private Client business is captured. The role will work on key strategic initiatives such as sizing and forecasting market share, profitability and commercial analysis and recommendations.

We are looking for a highly numerate person who is excited to solve strategic business problems by working with data, interpreting numbers, and consulting with stakeholders to translate insights into real actions and solutions based on Private Client objectives. This role is for someone who is self-starting, independent, and wants to drive significant impact.

You will grow technically by embracing new technologies and analytical techniques to solve complex problems, alongside gaining in-depth knowledge of the Private Client business.

What you'll do

You’ll impact and influence stakeholders to facilitate discussion and decisions aligned to the global Private Client strategy

Work closely with your manager, the Private Client team and stakeholders to scope, design, develop, and implement a variety of analytical initiatives, including:

  • Profound analysis to drive strategic Private Client decisions
  • Quantifying and challenging hypotheses and assumptions
  • Build robust statistical and data methods to model, predict and measure Private Client market share, profitability and share of wallet
  • Be innovative especially when working with small datasets
  • Improve efficiencies and automate analysis to ensure focus is on new value-add analysis
  • Support on ad-hoc analysis when required
  • Continuously learn and raise the bar for quality and rigour of your work
  • Challenge your team and stakeholders in meetings to encourage healthy debate and stimulating discussions

Who you are


  • Degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science or related field
  • Knowledge of statistical methods including data mining, predictive modelling, and reporting technologies.
  • You are advanced in SQL
  • You are detail-oriented with a demonstrably high standard for data accuracy and documentation
  • You are an expert in manipulating large data sets in a professional environment
  • You are a strong communicator regardless of format (email, documentation, presentation, discussion)
  • You are able to collaborate with both commercial and technical stakeholders (technical product managers, development leads)
