Manage the development and delivery of Operations Internal Communications, aligned and consistently supporting the employer brand and overall internal communication strategy to assure effective and open internal communications within the Operations teams, promoting visibility to the wider business of the activity and achievements of the Operations strategy, roadmap, projects and changes, contributing to the engagement of teams, while fostering a strong sense of belonging & brand advocacy amongst Farfetchers.

What you’ll do:

  • Support the Global Head of Employer Brand & People Comms to ensure that the People Promise and our Values are fully leveraged throughout the employee experience & all communications are aligned with the overall Employer Brand &Communications strategy
  • Work within Operations, in a support and partnering model leveraging communication for several offices and regions, and developing engaging internal storytelling, increasing the awareness and celebration of internal important achievements, contributing to the teams’ proudness;
  • Be responsible for the Operations internal group / community building close day-to-day relationships with the wider Operations team and stakeholders, to facilitate the best internal communication approach within projects and teams, ensuring clear and open communications, and contributing to full adoption of Farfetch vision.
  • Manage the approach to operations comms, including use of appropriate channels(online & offline), in order to deliver an improved & consistent employee experience
  • Ensure that all communications are fully aligned with the tone and messaging of global internal communications;
  • Work closely with the rest of the employer brand and people communications team members to ensure seamless integration & planning of content as well as consistency and alignment;
  • Ghost write to key Operations stakeholders to promote role modelling and their roles as key ambassadors within our Operations community
  • Manage the operations communities and use those initiatives to promote internal engagement and external awareness always aligned with the external comms strategy
  • Build the tools and processes for effective knowledge sharing between teams (wiki,sharing tools, repository, etc.) - Knowledge Management
  • Liaise with the key members of the Operations team to gather relevant information and updates on key happenings, working as part of the team
  • Contribute to design and organize teams’ off sites

Who you are:

  • Educated to degree level, ideally in Marketing or Communications;
  • Proven experience in internal communications or brand engagement role, with very strong content writing skills;
  • Experience working within technology environments;
  • Experience of rolling out internal communication initiatives globally, with an ability to navigate a global, matrix organisation;
  • Skilled at developing and delivering creative, strategic solutions for initiatives that need engagement throughout different channels and targets;
  • Highly influential, super relational and skilled at finding the ‘win:win’ scenarios
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Engaging and creative communication style, adaptable to different audiences and channels
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and projects, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • A media / digital enthusiast with a demonstrable interest in social media, mobile technologies and emerging communication technologies and channels
  • Strong relationship management skills with experience of dealing with a diverse range of stakeholders
