The role

Utilise your established relationships with high-end fashion boutiques in Italy to introduce them to the Farfetch concept, maximise its potential, keep the existing boutiques network engaged to our vision. The success of Farfetch is guided by the relationships with our boutique partners. You will work in Italy reporting to the Director of Business Development and managing a Business Development Senior Executive both based in London.

What you’ll do

  • Engagement
  • You will anticipate industry challenges and proposing solutions, plan activities on a short-medium term basis and contribute to budget forecasting.
  • You will implement ad-hoc commercial agreements for top boutiques to create additional revenue and monitor them.
  • You will establish, analyse indicators with Account Management, Commercial Planning & Pricing, Partner Success, Finance and Legal to ensure that expectations are met (Indicators include sales, no stock rate, product quality...)
  • You will promote our projects (New Categories, Connected Retail, Fulfilment by Farfetch, Marketing & Editorial, Farfetch Capital, Private Clients...)
  • Travel to boutiques locations, Fashion Weeks and to our offices
  • You understand the industry and the territory specificities, monitor other channels of sales
  • Prospection: you will use established relationships to provide support in the building and growth of Farfetch concept
  • Forecast and pipeline build following semester targets
  • Support contract negotiations process

Who you are

  • Italian native, 7 year experience industry specialist in sales (wholesale, showroom)
  • Experienced in building relationships with clients/customers and knowledge of specialty stores/fashion boutiques, e-tailers and Department stores in Italy.
  • Capable to anticipate complex situations and solve them
  • You will manage of a team member, inspire and positively influence teams and peers
  • MS excel (can perform complex functions) and GoogleSlides (can create impactful presentations)
