Creative operations

We’re a creative family, building copy, data and visual assets for each corner of the FARFETCH Ecommerce Platform. We are dedicated to providing gold standard imagery, content and production services for our partners and creating an engaging on-site experience for our customers.

Our Porto office is located in Portugal’s vibrant second city, known for its history and its creative yet cosy environment. The role

Reporting to the Studio Lead, you will focus on Studio Photography. The Photographer will produce high-quality imagery following each of our brand’s guidelines whilst guaranteeing productivity and efficiency.

What you’ll do

  • Photograph e-commerce images for on model, ready-to-wear or still life products;
  • Shoot high volumes of product staying up-to-date with Art Direction and Photography Specialists;
  • Work and engage with all elements of the team on and off set;
  • Contribute with an up-to-date visual culture whilst developing knowledge of brands and creators;
  • Stay up-to-date on industry tools techniques, and the best practices in photography;
  • Follow photography guidelines, ensuring the workflow is running correctly.

Who you are

  • Relevant degree in Photography, Audiovisual Communication, Multimedia, Visual Arts;
  • Experience and portfolio in editorial and e-commerce photography;
  • Excellent technical knowledge in photography and lighting (experience with studio lights, Pocket Wizards, Profoto and Canon systems) and good understanding of retouching;
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows, IT Systems (Google Docs, Slides and Sheets), Photography Management Software (Capture One, Adobe Bridge, Adobe Lightroom);
  • Understanding and interest in the Global luxury fashion landscape, encompassing photography, design trends and innovation;
  • Advanced language skills (Portuguese and English).
