Creative operations

We’re a creative family, building copy, data and visual assets for each corner of the FARFETCH Ecommerce Platform. We are dedicated to providing gold standard imagery, content and production services for our partners and creating an engaging on-site experience for our customers.

Guimarães

Our Guimarães office is located in this beautiful and historic city, often described as the ‘birthplace of Portugal’. This is where our European Production team is based, in a custom-built office and studio facility which has a games room, music area and unbeatable chill out zone with a hammock that fits up to 20 people!

The role

Reporting to the Studios Lead, you will be an important driving force and work to improve the style content of our images and produce inspirational ‘market leader’ product shots on a model.

What you’ll do

  • Create an experienced level of styling within menswear imagery for the website;
  • Ensure a high level of research, presenting looks to the Deputy Styling Editors and Styling Editor before going on set;
  • Support and offer guidance to the in-house styling team;
  • Ensure individual KPI’s and targets are established and met;
  • Ensure that Production processes are respected;
  • Outline any potential styling needs to manager and individual performance;
  • Support Brand launches, capsule collections & maintenance of quality output;
  • Work within the processes of the production studio;

Who you are

  • Inspiring and motivational within a team;
  • Detailed knowledge of menswear trends, designers’ brands and the luxury fashion market;
  • 10 years proven styling experience within menswear editorial, personnel shopping, visual merchandising, retail or e-commerce experiences;
  • Ability to give constructive feedback to explain further to more junior members;
  • Have a specialist or advanced area of styling – for example fine watches, fine jewelry or suiting;
  • Ability to commercially translate product with the menswear luxury customer in mind;
  • Proactive approach to driving changes within limited time frames;
  • Understanding of a production chain and importance KPI’s;
  • Fluent in English.
