In this role as the first JAPAC SEO & Digital Content Manager, you’ll grow and scale our JAPAC web marketing presence and traffic via SEO and conversion rate optimisation. You will be responsible for process development, journey optimisation, analytics, as well as day-to-day content production, SEO and project management to help us take figma.com and our other web marketing surfaces to the next level.

This role works cross-functionally with the Marketing teams in APAC,EMEA and the US with the goal of educating our key buyers, driving product awareness, traffic to our website, generating organic sign ups and helping retain clients.

This is a full-time position based in our Singapore, Tokyo

What you’ll do at Figma:

  • Work alongside the Regional and Global Marketing teams to grow and optimise our Japanese and APAC web marketing presence and traffic to site
  • Produce and audit web pages in the Figma.com CMS across Japanese, Korean and other APAC languages.
  • Readily identify SEO and content growth opportunities by analysing existing content and information architecture, keyword constructs, and data/traffic metrics.
  • Design and implement processes and programs that enable the team to work more efficiently across teams, and within the team
  • Work closely with our INTL SEO, localisation and global web development teams on new features and site needs that contribute to SEO
  • Collaborate with brand, web, editorial, marketing ops, and other teams to develop and implement the web marketing strategies that drive Japan and APAC traffic engagement and conversion through our core user paths

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience in content strategy and site performance analysis
  • Strong understanding of SEO and website analytics and previous experience using an SEO tool for keyword research (example: Ahrefs)
  • Experience working on multi-language websites, managing content projects and requests, website development and content management systems
  • Familiarity and experience with website development, international marketing SEO best practices and content management systems
  • Expert at prioritising, organising and managing multiple projects with competing deadlines and needs
  • Ability to partner effectively with collaborators and influence decisions at all levels
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a focus on collaboration

While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:

  • Strong listening and facilitation skills, a passion for storytelling with attention to detail, quality and accuracy
  • An understanding of the digital landscape and its impact on the future of the content marketing industry
  • Fluency in Japanese or Korean
