Figma is growing our team of passionate people on a mission to make design accessible to all. Born on the web, Figma helps entire product teams brainstorm, create, test, and ship better designs, together. From innovative products to long-lasting companies, we believe that nothing great is made alone.

We’re looking for our first-ever Technical Program Manager to join Figma’s Product team. We need a leader who can fundamentally redesign how we ship products at Figma, especially in a world where our teams are growing at unprecedented scale. You’ll be thinking about things like: How should we plan every quarter to ensure we’re working on the most strategic things? How do we execute such that everyone from our customers to support to marketing to sales reliably knows what’s launching when? You’ll work hand-in-hand with the VP of Product to design and implement new processes, and ultimately transform the culture of building product at Figma and turn it into a company known for operational excellence.

This is a full-time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.

What you’ll do at Figma

  • Redesign the way we do quarterly product planning, drive that process, and continue to make it better every single quarter
  • Improve the way we execute and communicate around the execution—figure out the best process for how we take an idea from conception to completion, all-the-while allowing the right stakeholders to be informed at the right time. This involves ensuring projects are properly scoped and resourced; it also means prioritizing topics for executive engagement.
  • Run various product team processes like Product Reviews
  • We’d love to hear from you if
  • You’re an excellent project manager. You’re able to manage large-scale, complex projects and programs that impact the entire organization. You have an incredible attention to detail and are fantastic at prioritization. You’re able to maintain accountability and produce high quality deliverables, both for yourself and your stakeholders.
  • You’re an excellent verbal and written communicator. You’re able to zoom in and out effortlessly based on the audience.
  • You love designing processes, and like to think of it as building a product. (Check out this blog post on our process—this is the kind of thing that should excite you!) You’re comfortable navigating different tools like Asana and Coda to customize them to our needs.
  • You know some basic scripting that can help make sure the right people and tools are talking to each other.

About Figma

Dylan Field and Evan Wallace co-founded Figma in 2012 with the vision of building tools for designers in the browser. Their goal was to create the first design tool that combined the accessibility of the Web with the functionality of a native app. Today Figma is a platform with tools and spaces to support the entire product development process—idea to design to build—and has simplified collaboration for companies like Microsoft, Uber, and The New York Times to name a few.

At Figma, we celebrate and support our differences. We know employing a team rich in diverse backgrounds, experiences, and opinions allows our employees, products, and community to flourish. Figma is an equal opportunity workplace—we are dedicated to equal employment opportunities regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national orientation, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity, or Veteran status.
