This Sr. Operations Analyst role will call for an organized, focused and creative individual to help drive initiatives & changes with the US business, while still completing higher level BAU work.  The Sr. Ops Analyst will be part of the Capital Markets Operations (CMO) team, reporting to the Senior Manager, within the US Finance business unit.

Sr. Analyst Responsibility

  • Own the investor communication & reporting function by providing a high touch level of client service.
  • Execute day-to-day operating activities related to investor onboarding, portfolio management, creating & sending monthly statements, as well as managing the routine reporting process.
  • Attend investor & service provider meetings where necessary to help aid in the conversation and takeaways asked of the team.
  • Demonstrate an ability to help coordinate investor onboarding projects in conjunction with the CMO Manager and Operations stakeholders.
  • Be responsible for scoping and troubleshooting larger ad-hoc operational issues as they occur
  • Coordinate larger external initiatives such as routine audits, portfolio reviews and product deployments with investors.
  • Work closely with Product, Technology and Partnerships teams to identify features & contribute to the development of platforms, reports and systems used by investors.
  • Provide value-add suggestions & findings to management with the intention of improving operations and reporting capabilities.
  • Continue to develop technical skills with data, technology, and automation.
  • Display an ability to pivot between “macro” and “micro” views of the overall strategy of the CMO function.
  • Have a clear “proactive” vs “reactive” tendency.
  • You’ve been there and done this…
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics, or equivalent discipline.
  • 3+ years of work experience in the financial services industry, investment operations, lending industry and/or financial reconciliation.
  • Self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Expert time management and prioritization skills with the ability to dynamically pivot between responsibilities.
  • Polished profile when working directly with external investors and service providers.
  • Working understanding of G.A.A.P. and how it pertains to investor reporting & reconciliations.
  • Elementary knowledge of SQL queries and how to use them effectively.
  • Intermediate + Excel skills are a must (vlookups, sumif, pivot tables macro recording/editing, effective data scrubbing techniques).
  • Proven ability to operate at a high level with minimal oversight.
  • Confidently challenge assumptions in a group setting.
  • Able to formulate a position using logic, empirical evidence, and a composed delivery.

  • Colorado Only* Base salary range of $75,000 to $80,000 + equity + benefits
